Factory store

Location

Our factory outlet makes for both a cozy stopover and travel destination. It is located in a beautiful spot near the heart of Kauhava, right by the Kauhava River and next to a charming church. It’s just a short 200m detour from the Seinäjoki-Ylivieska route and adds only a couple of kilometers for travelers on Highway 19. Clear signage from the main road will guide you to us.

Accessibility and amenities

The store is wheelchair accessible with a ramp, and we also have a wheelchair-friendly restroom available. Visitors are welcome to explore the factory grounds. There's a convenient spot for dog walking, and water refills for your furry friends are available in the store. 

Choose your perfect knife and
find exclusive products

Inside the store, you’ll find our entire knife collection on display, along with unique specialties that can’t be found anywhere else. We also offer products from other local artisans alongside our own knives and blades.

When visiting the store, you can personally select your knife, as there are often subtle differences in models, especially those made of curly birch. Some models feature various decorative engravings as well.

We provide on-the-spot engraving services for knife blades, and our factory store offers special pricing on items from our core collection. You can also try on and purchase a traditional Ostrobothnian felt hat, as they need to be properly fitted to ensure they suit the wearer perfectly. For this reason, our felt hats are sold exclusively at the store.

Explore history and
glimpse into our workshop

The store also features a museum section where you can explore the history of the company and knives at your own pace. Additionally, you can catch a glimpse into our sheath workshop from the store. All knives and their components are produced right here in this building, which has been our factory since 1958. Outside, the factory courtyard houses a display case showcasing funeral carriages made in 1932.
