Low-Maintenance and Reliable Knife for Occasional Use
The Jätkänvuolu Stainless is a straightforward, low-maintenance knife ideal for occasional hiking and outdoor use. First introduced in 1956, this model features a polished stainless steel blade and a lacquered handle that are easy to care for. However, it's recommended to clean and dry the knife after each use.
The knife is secured with rivets through the full tang and features a hidden rivet head, secured with a pewter ferrule. The sheath, made from vegetable-tanned cowhide, is decorated with a Sámi-inspired pattern and comes in two colors: traditional natural light or dark brown.
For heavier use, Jätkänvuolu is also available with a black carbon steel blade and an oiled handle, offering superior performance but requiring more maintenance to keep it in good condition.
The overall length of the Jätkänvuolu is 26 cm, with the knife measuring 21 cm and the blade 9.5 cm.
The Jätkänvuolu is also available as part of the Double Leuku set, where it serves as the smaller knife.
