Much like its sibling the Tramp, the Dandy Knife is a black version of our famous Juhlavuolu utility knife series. While the Tramp Knife has a matte sheen, the Dandy boasts a sleek, polished finish – designed for both function and display.
Features an 8 cm carbon steel blade, left blackened after hardening, identical to that of the Juhlavuolu.
The fittings are cast in bronze, and in the Dandy, they are fully polished. The curly birch handle is painted black, followed by 6-8 layers of clear lacquer with intermediate sanding. Decorative red stripes between the bronze fittings and the birch handle add a striking accent.
The Dandy has a sturdy handle, and the substantial bronze fittings not only provide a stunning appearance but also add weight, making the knife well-balanced in the hand. The sheath is sewn from black, vegetable-tanned bullhide. Due to the materials used, this knife requires regular care after use: the blade must be dried after use, and applying a layer of food-safe oil, such as cooking oil, will help protect it.
